Throughout the month of July 2016, our employees in Zhengzhou initiated an organisation-wide collection of life-enhancing and monetary donations for children suffering from cerebral palsy.

Cerebral palsy is a disease that affects three in every 1000 Chinese children under the age of seven years old every year. Studies reveal families with children of cerebral palsy experience tremendous financial burdens, insufficient educational and medical services, as well as discrimination among family members and communities.

These challenges are being tackled by the doctors, carers and educators at the Henan Provincial Childcare Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation Center. Providing support and education to families and patients, their work is invaluable and one well respected by the company.

A team of our China employees along with several of our Greka Future Leaders visited the center to witness first hand the incredible care, compassion and tangible support being given to the children.

Giving back to the communities is important to us as is our future leaders programme launched in 2012 aimed at identifying key young talent in our team. The programme provides both professional and personal development opportunities and support to help these individuals grow to be the future leaders of the business.
