Randeep S. Grewal - Chairman & CEO

Randeep S. Grewal (second generation minerals and oil & gas) founded Greka in 1997 and has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since inception. Mr. Grewal built Greka into a heavy oil & gas, transportation, refining, coal bed methane and real estate development company. From April 1997 to September 1997, Mr. Grewal served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Horizontal Ventures, Inc., an oil and gas horizontal drilling technology company that became a subsidiary of Greka in September 1997. From 1993 to 1996, Mr. Grewal was Corporate Vice President for the Rada Group with principal responsibility for its global expansion and diversification to commercial from its defence roots and operations. He has also been involved in various joint ventures, acquisitions, mergers and reorganizations since 1986 in the United States, Europe and the Far East with a range of businesses. Mr. Grewal has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Northrop University.
 
 
 
 
 
Alfred Yan – Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Yan joined Greka in May 2007 as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Yan has over 18 years of experience in accounting, auditing and corporate finance. Prior to joining Greka, Mr. Yan worked as Chief Financial Officer at Chinese People Gas Holdings Limited from 2005 - 2007, handled group financial management, corporate finance and compliance, company secretary as well as investor relations. From 2002 - 2005, Mr. Yan was a Financial Controller at True Seating Concepts Limited. From 1994 - 2001, Mr. Yan held various positions at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, KPMG & BDO including Audit Manager, Resident Manager and Resident Representative of BDO Shanghai. Mr. Yan is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
 
 
 
 
 
Lisa He – Chief Accounting Officer

Lisa He joined Greka on February 1 2008 as Chief Accounting Officer. Ms. He has 16 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Prior to joining Greka, Ms He works for AES Wanfang Company as Chief Financial Controller from 2004 to 2007. Ms. He had lead her team and set up the Company internal control system and got the Company passed International standard according to US SOX404 standard. From 2007 to 2008, Ms He held position as Chief Accounting Officer for Xinyuan Real Estate Group whom she was a key member of the Account and Finance team in listing the company in New York Stock Exchange, NYSE. Ms He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Tax Agent in China and holds a master degree in Business Administration at Xi'an Jiaotong University.
 
 
 
 
 
Zhang Bao Zhuang – Vice President and Chief Operation Officer, GTS

Zhang Bao Zhuang joined Greka Technical Services as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in February 2008. Mr. Zhang brings over 30 years of background working in the oil & gas engineering technical services and international cooperation. From 1976 to 1995, Mr. Zhang worked at Huabei Petroleum Administration Bureau, a drilling and engineering services subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corp; as an engineer and various senior management positions. From 1995 to 1999, Mr. Zhang was the General Manager of Sothern Petroleum Development Company and was appointed as President of Huabei Petroleum Administration Bureau from 1999 to 2004. From Jan 2003 to Jan 2008, Mr Zhang was a member of the Standing Committee of Hebei Provincial People’s Congress. He graduated at Beijing Geology College, major in Petroleum in 1966.
 
 
 
 
 
Mr. Stephen C Hill – Vice President, Corporate Communications

Stephen has lived in Asia for 27 years (Japan 1983-1995, Thailand 1995-1998 and Hong Kong since 1998). He began his finance career in London with Hoare Govett as a Japanese Equity Salesman. He was Head of Equity Sales for WICARR and Jardine Fleming in Japan and also for Jardine Fleming Thanakom in Thailand. He was the Country Head for Indosuez WICARR securities in Thailand and the regional Head of Asian Sales for Bear Stearns, Nomura and ING Barings. More recently he was the Deputy Managing Director of Quam Securities in Hong Kong.

He is a graduate of Leicester University and in 2001 attended Wharton’s advanced Management Program (AMP). He speaks German and Japanese. In May 2009 he passed the Corporate Finance License from the Hong Kong Securities Institute. He completed many large fund raises for a cross section of corporate clients in his career in Finance.
 
 
 
 
 
Howard Li – Vice President, Corporate Affairs

Mr. Li joined Greka at General Manager of Midstream on 1st May 2008 and become Vice President, Corporate Affairs on May 2010. In his role of Corporate Affairs, Mr Li will be responsible for all external relations on behalf of the company including but not limited to government relations, public affairs, corporate and business development. Mr Li has extensive experiences in the gas transportation of natural gas market in Henan Shanghai, Anhui, Jiangsu, Hubei and Jiangxi province in China. Between 1992 and 2005, he was the General Manager of an import and export company as well as an estate company in Italy and China. Prior to joining Greka, he was the Executive Director and General Manager of PC Hengran Petrol & Gas Company when was actively involved in the project of establishing the CNG mother station in Zhengzhou and Anhui. Mr. Li holds a Bachelor degree in Information Progress from the Mid-China Teacher’s University.
 
 
 
 
 
Mahmood (Mel) Lone - Vice President, Exploration and Development

Mel Lone joined Greka Energy Corporation in 1999 and has been General Manager and Chief Representative of Greka in China since 2001. He has been actively involved in the development of CBM at Greka. From 1995 to 1998 he worked in the US and Indonesia for Saba Exploration Company and was Vice President of Saba Exploration and Saba International Limited from 1997. From 1987 to 1995 he worked in international trading and real estate in Toronto, Canada. Mr Lone has a BA in Economics and History from the University of Punjab, Pakistan.
 
 
 
     
 
 
Dr. Daniel Chan – Director, Business Development

Dr. Daniel Chan joined Greka as Business Development Director in February 2010. Daniel has a wealth of experience in the business development and strategic planning in gas industry in China, in particular in wholesale, retail, pipeline city gas as well as in CBM. Prior to joining Greka, Daniel was a Senior Advisor at Sanya Changfeng Energy Co. and CRA International Co. respectively. During the period 2004 – 2007, Daniel was a Vice President at Towngas International where he lead several major gas business projects in PRC. Prior to that, Daniel assumed various positions at CLP Power Group for the period 1993 – 2003 such as Strategic Planning Manager, Business Development and Country Manager. Daniel has a Doctor of Philosophy (1988) of and Bachelor of Engineer in Chemcial / Fuel Technology (1984) at the University of NSW, Australia. He has a Master of Business Administration (1993) at the University of Technology in Sydney and a Certificate of Law (2002) at the Open University in Hong Kong.
 
 
 
     
 
 
Ma Xia Wen - General Manger, Jiangxi

Madam Ma joined Greka in 2007. She has nine years citigas experiences and has been a member of Nanchang National People Congress five consecutive sessions. Prior to joining Greka, Madam Ma was appointed as General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Director of Nanchang Fuel Gas.
 
 
 
     
     
 
 
David Turnbull - Non-executive Director

David Turnbull is Executive Chairman of Pacific Basin Shipping Limited since 1st July 2008. He has been an independent non-executive director of Pacific Basin Shipping Limited since May 2006.
Mr Turnbull was appointed an independent non-executive director of Sands China Ltd. in October 2009.
Mr Turnbull joined Seabury Aviation & Aerospace as Chairman of Seabury Asia in November 2008.
Mr Turnbull worked for the Swire Group for 30 years from 1976 to 2006 where he was the immediate past Chairman of Swire Pacific Ltd, Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd (January 2005 - January 2006) and Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Ltd (HAECo) (March 1995 - August 2006). He also served as a non-executive director of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) (January 2005 - Dec 2005), Hysan Development Co Ltd (May 2005 - Jan 2006) and Air China Ltd (May 2005 - Dec 2005). He was appointed a director of Cathay Pacific in 1994 and took up the positions of Deputy Managing Director in 1994, Managing Director in 1996 and Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive in 1998 before his appointment to Chairman in January 2005.
Mr Turnbull has an MA in Economics from Cambridge University.
 
 
 
 
 
Stewart M, John OBE. FREng., aged 71, Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr John was appointed as independent non-executive director of CaymanCo on 1 July 2006. He has over 50 years of experience in the aviation industry, half of which was gained in Hong Kong. He worked for Cathay Pacific and British Airways for 17 and 22 years, respectively. Mr John was Deputy Chairman of Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Ltd. and has served as non-executive director of Rolls-Royce Commercial Aero Engines, British Aerospace Aviation Services, Airlines of Britain Holdings, HK Aero Engine Services Ltd., Aviation Exposure Management and Newall Aerospace. He is currently a non-executive director of Taikoo Aircraft Engineering Co. and a trustee of Brooklands Museum. He is currently a non-executive director of TAECO Taikoo Aircraft Engineeing Company (Xiamen) Ltd. On the Advisory Board of Kingfisher Airlines (India). Trustee of Brooklands Museum (UK) and Chairman of Brooklands Limited. He is a Past President of the Royal Aeronautical Society and of the International Federation of Airworthiness.
Mr John is a Chartered Engineer, a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and a fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
 
 
 
 
 
Gong Da Bing - Non-executive Director

Gong Da Bing has 27 years of international business experience. From 1992 to 1999 she was managing director of the Chinese office of Frontanic Co, a private international trading organisation. From 1989 to 1992 she was the chief representative in China of Koor Trade Limited. From 1978 to 1989 she was the manager for joint venture operations and import and export Business for Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation. From 1975 to 1978 she was a business negotiator for the Beijing Foreign Trade Bureau, Department of Machinery Import & Export. Madam Gong studied English at the Beijing Second Foreign Language University and has a Masters Degree in Comparative Law from the University of Illinois, USA
 
 
 
 
 
David Eastlake - Non-executive Director

David Eastlake is Head of Corporate Finance Hong Kong at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has over 25 years of experience in finance and banking. He first worked at Price Waterhouse in London from 1985 to 1992 and in Hong Kong from 1992 to 1997. He then joined First Pacific Company in Hong Kong in 1997 as Group Treasurer and was appointed as director in 1999. Whilst at First Pacific, he was on the boards of several group companies, including Savills plc and Berli Jucker plc.
In 2001, he moved to ING Bank NV in Hong Kong as Head of M&A Asia and then transferred to Dubai in 2007 as Head of Clients & Corporate Finance Middle East. He left ING in December 2009 to return to Hong Kong.
Mr. Eastlake has a BA in Economics from the University of Exeter and is a qualified accountant with membership of both the ICAEW and HKICPA.
